NaphCare Awarded Contract to Continue Services for Residential Re-Entry Management Branch
January 21, 2025Birmingham, Ala.— NaphCare, Inc., a leading correctional healthcare company, was selected by the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) to continue to provide healthcare services for adults in custody managed by the Residential Re-Entry Management Branch (RRMB). The RRMB is responsible for approximately 14,000 individuals housed in residential re-entry centers and home confinement across the country. The RRMB also monitors individuals in the Federal Location Monitoring program under the United States Probation Office.
With the new contract, NaphCare will continue to provide all community-based health care and prescribed medication. NaphCare has provided these services for the RRMB since 2016. This re-award will ensure that patients have continued access to a diverse, nationwide network of medical providers and pharmacies, which support their transition from BOP custody to full release into their local communities.

NaphCare will also utilize the expertise of InMedRX to deliver low-cost pharmaceutical services. Patients within RRMB management will have access to a nationwide pharmacy network that includes both retail and specialty pharmacies.
NaphCare is the largest provider of healthcare services to the BOP, supporting medical care for approximately 36,000 adults housed in federal prisons across the country.
