The NaphCare Charitable Foundation Awards Annual Scholarships for 2019-2020 School Year

Recipients of the 2020 NaphCare Charitable Foundation Scholarship

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The NaphCare Charitable Foundation announced the award of 58 scholarships to deserving students across the U.S. for the 2019-2020 school year. The students selected were rising high school seniors and college freshman in schools in Alabama, Kentucky and Mississippi.

Rising college freshman were granted scholarships of $10,000 or $5,000 for the upcoming school year. Additionally, 25 rising high school seniors at Valley High School in Valley, Ala., were awarded scholarships to cover dual-enrollment classes at Southern Union Community College.

“We were so impressed with the talented students who applied this year,” said Deanna Newton, Executive Director of The NaphCare Charitable Foundation. “We wish them the best in their academic pursuits and will be cheering them on to success. They are all outstanding students who are poised to make an impact in their schools and communities.”

The NaphCare Charitable Foundation was established in 2011 to provide academic opportunities to high school students who demonstrate need and aptitude for success. Including this year's recipients, the Foundation has awarded more than 200 scholarships exceeding $3 million.
